Our big guys love Gabrielle Inglesis, “The Fluffy Guy,” so when we learned he would be touring nearby, an overnight trip to Vermont was in order.

This was a Mom, Dad and older boys trip. The little guys stayed home with Grandma as we enjoyed some much needed time with our older ones.

Burlingting, Vermont is about a 2.5 hour drive from our home including the beautiful ferry ride on a warm summer day from Grand Isle in Plattsburgh.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Burlington, which provides simple accommodates but never disappoints. Nothing fancy, but always pleasant. Our evening began with dinner at Outback Steak House. Thankfully, their Gluten-free menu was tasty and I did not get sick! Traveling can be hard with Celiac.

We made our way to the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds where “The Fluffy Guy” was appearing, roamed around a bit, played some games and shopped before the show.

The show itself was spectacular. I am so glad we made the trip; our boys loved it!

After the show, we stayed at the fair until closing time. Lots of fun!

After breakfast at the hotel the following day, we decided to head out to Church Street Market. Adam, of course, stayed back at Barnes and Nobles spending his day doing his most favorite thing—reading.

Hubby and I took Matt and Jay to Church Street. The Market is a fun place to roam for a while, drift in and out of the stores and relax with some ice cream. Even though it rained for some of the day while we were there, we still had an awesome time.

There is so much to see and do in Burlington, and with only a short time we didn’t get to all of it. I am looking forward to returning and seeing the Burlington Teddy Bear Factory! Perhaps, I’ll leave the big guys home for that trip. I’m sure my little ones won’t mind making bears with Mom!
